Description:

Need a job? Dread writing or updating your résumé? If any of these are true for you, Resume Plus could be just the program you need. With helpful formatting, suggestions, and ready-made résumé templates, Resume Plus can make writing your curriculum vitae much less of a time-consuming effort.

Installation is quick and easy. There are instructions on the back of the CD-ROM jewel case in addition to an instructional booklet that comes with the software. Initial setup is also a breeze. Resume Plus walks you through each and every step, from setting up a profile, to choosing an aesthetic format for your résumé, to sending out your résumé over the Internet.

Resume Plus has many features designed to make résumé writing an easier process. If you want to create more than one résumé, you'll appreciate having the ability to create and save multiple profiles. Additionally, once your résumé content is set, there are many different styles and templates to help you craft an appropriate appearance for your document. When creating the content of your résumé, Resume Plus has many helpful action words, action phrases, and job titles to help you along the way. Resume Plus also lets you fax and e-mail your résumé to employers straight from the program.

All of these features and more work together to create an all-inclusive, step-by-step program that will be of value to any résumé writer. Resume Plus, however, should not be used as a substitute for your own creativity and ingenuity. After all, the point of a résumé is to get your life, your experience, and your goals down on paper.

Overall, Resume Plus is a good tool to get started on your quest for the perfect job. Or, at least, a job. --Kendra Hayden
