Rating: Summary: It Works, But Not as Advertised Review: One would wish that a product slated to run on two platforms would perform as it is supposed to do on both. I work on both Macs and PCs in a variety of locations. I had hoped that this device would allow me to ferry files between them all. Sadly, it does not. The drive stores and retrieves data just fine on an iMac and iBook with no problem. However, the password protection only works with Windows so there is a feature that I paid for that will not help me here. As for PCs - one out of the two notebooks I tried it on just failed to see it. It runs flawlessly on the second, however. The desktop in my main office seems to see it. But, the only way I know this is that the system constantly reboots until I remove the drive from the slot. (Please note that a Lexar JumpDrive works without a glitch on this same machine.) My advice - go with Lexar.
