Summary: Great little USB 2 drive
Review: This little drive is wonderful. It small and light so its extremely portable. And to top it all off it is USB 2 compatible so its also quick at transferring files to and from the drive. The best part was the price ---- for a USB 2 drive this price can't be beat.Amazon shipping was quick and out of the box I plugged it in my Windows XP machine and that was it. No software to install. I transferred 62MB to the drive in USB 2 and it took approximately 30 seconds. Then transfer the same 62MB on the USB 1.1 port and it took 1 minute and 40 second. What else can I say this drive is great.

Summary: Where's the Rebate!!!!!
Review: Though the unit works well on several different computers the $25.00 rebate has yet to be received. What gives? I'm not interested in getting into a battle but am a bit ticked off and have serious reservations about future purchases.

Summary: VisionTek 64MB USB Flash Drive
Review: USB Flash drive works GREAT in a Windows 2000 Professional Environment. Doesn't work in a W98 SE Environment. Downloaded Windows 98 Drivers and have not been able to get W98 to recognise this device. I have formatted it as FAT32 so that I can use it in both W98 SE and Windows 2000 Professional.

Summary: Works great - Fit and finish not the greatest
Review: Works as well as any thumb drive.
The price after rebate was great. Fit and finish not up to standard of another brand I have.
Cap for connector slides on and off fine now but I believe it will become loose (and be lost) over time the way it is constructed. My other drive provided 3 caps and they snap on securely.
The green light that indicates activity is very small
and difficult to see (located on the side of the unit). My other drive lights up the whole end of the drive and is very easy to see.
It provides no method to secure the data from being deleted by mistake (the more expensive unit has a physical write protect). A very nice cable about 36 inches long was provided to bring the usb port out where you can easily access it (not provided by the more expensive drive). A place to attach a lanyard is available but no lanyard. The more expensive drive did supply a lanyard. This unit was inexpensive after rebate (Happy to have it at the price). My other drive was 128MB and 2 1/2 times as much after rebate.

Summary: Easy compatibility with Mac OSX an Win XP but Rebate Cautio
Review: Works seamlessly with both Mac OSX and Win XP. An additional usb cable provided helped me a lot. I have this in my pocket and keep shuttling this between home and work editing the same files. Its wonderful.. I like the portablity. I just hope I dont loose this. I will stick in my address label on top, hoping a good samiratan will return if lost and found. I Recommend the product.
