Summary: Defective from day one
Review: When I plugged it into my PC for the first time, the hardware was detected but when opening the drive (in this case, E) it said "no disk in drive E:". It did not work in a MAC either. I called Sandisk support and they told me it was defective. So I didn't get to use it for my class like I intended and I had to go through the hassle of sending it back. Instead I bought a PNY Atache 256MB and I am VERY pleased. I do not recommend taking a chance with the Sandisk.

Summary: Awesome Product!
Review: I received this product for Christmas, and it has worked perfectly on 5 different computers, with 3 different operating systems. I like this product so much, that I keep all of my important files on it, and actually use my PC as the back-up to my cruzer mini!

Summary: Very slow with Windows XP and USB 2 port.
Review: Very slow (1 hour) to copy to it a folder containing 212 MB of data (5538 files, 1752 folders) with Windows XP.
Zipping up the files into a single ZIP file, it can be copied in about 3 minutes. So there is an issue with the number of files/folders.
This problem does not happen with Windows 2000.

Reading the copied files is fast enough (about 3-4 minutes) under WinXP (or Win2000).

Deleting the files under Windows XP would have taken even longer (about 2 hours), so I re-format it instead (a few seconds).
This problem does not happen with Windows 2000.

Thanks to a great message from "samthewebman" he found that re-formatting the USB drive as NTFS instead of FAT32 (default) or FAT, resolved the problem in his case (another brand of Flash Drive). I will try this tonight.

Summary: best of it's class
Review: Heres a fast and loose review:
Very small, quite discrete
Stylish
Usefull
Fast
Backwards compatible with usb 1.1
Decent price
Included lanyard looks cheap (and it is, it also isnt very useful)
I would have preferred a keychain over the lanyard.

Summary: A great product
Review: I built a new computer without a floppy or zip drive. This flash drive complements the CD-RW drive nicely, allowing me just as much, if not more, freedom than I had with zip disks. I've tried it with both Windows XP and ME.

Considering it's a name brand it was very affordable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fast and easy way to transfer their files.

Summary: Don't buy this product!!!!!
Review: My disk worked for 2 months and then stopped. After calling their help/tech number, I was informed that it was a goner. I now have to send it back to them and they will send me another one. In short, I am very angery. This thing was promised to be the answer for all my failed disks/zips. It is just as, if not more, unreliable.

Think of it: There are 14 reviews of this product. Three claim failure. Can we conclude that one out of every 5 fails? Probably!
