Summary: Very Poor and Disappointing Support
Review: I am a graphic designer and I have used an EZQuest 18GB external FireWire drive for two years with no problems. I decided to upgrade to a larger drive to accomodate larger projects. I purchased this drive and followed all the formatting instructions to zero the drive and convert it to MacOS extended. The drive would freeze when I would try to open a file on it. I ran DiskWarrior and it would either freeze before it finished or give me an error message. I contacted Alsoft, which makes DiskWarrior and they said the error number I was getting indicated that the media was bad.I tried running Norton SystemWorks and it gave me more errors than I could list. Even after it ran successfully it would give me the same errors. I decided to contact EZQuest tech support. I detailed the efforts I had done to resolve the issue and they suggested that I send it in. I was contacted by two three different technicians who either didn't read the info I sent or didn't have access to it. They told me there was nothing wrong and what would they like me to do. I told them if they could format it and get DiskWarrior to run successfully I would take it back.
I received it a week later with the same problems and none of the external "on/off" "read/write" lights worked. I sent it back to the place I bought for a full refund. NO MORE EZQUEST FOR ME...my files are my livelihood and I can't afford to trust them to such an unreliable drive and support staff.

Summary: best for it's price
Review: it is huge compare to other external hard drive. But, price is great, I don't have any lost files or problems. Other smaller hard drive is less stable and more delicate. Especially iPOD~!! You have to be extremely delicate with iPOD, if you accidently bump the iPOD on the desk, you have high chance of loosing your very important file you stored.
