Summary: biggest piece of junk ever!
Review: It is plastic, warped, ill-made garbage. I bought this because of the USB and firewire with option to daisy chain. The product disappointed me immediately by being cheap and warped; it only straightened out by screwing it together, re-warping it into alignment. The pin holes are too tight: MAJOR PROBLEM! As hard as I tried, I could not insert the drive all the way into the pin holes. I asked a stronger friend, and he cut his hand on the flimsy plastic circuit board. Still, the drive was not fully inserted. Forget it. It is the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought. AND the company does not respond to return requests! I bought it from a seller that does not take returns. So I am out $50. Buy the Macally aluminum enclosure instead. I got the Macally to replace this heap, and it is excellent.
