Rating: Summary: Fast and rugged Review: This drive only has one particular better feature, it is faster copying files on 2.0 port on an XP Operating System. Otherwise it is overpriced compared to some other USB Flash Drives. It would have been better with a more ruggedized case. My suggestion is shop around on Amazon and some brick and mortar stores. Ask anyone you know that has a USB Flash drive what brand they have, do they like it, and what did they pay? Most of them are fairly comparable in functionality. What sets some apart is price, speed, and ruggedized case. Your own values will have to weigh those according to your needs.
Rating: Summary: Great portable storage Review: This is a great USB stick. No hassles to install any software, so long as the operating system is windows 2000. NT does not allow hot plugging in detection and some older win 98 machines (or older USB ports do not detect). This has become part of my keychain to carry important documents around. Also helps me move large documents between my project team members PC's. Sturdy construction and it can take abuse. Only down side is the device cannot be stopped on all PC's and sometimes (10%) when I unplug it from the PC it may not retain the file copied (only from that PC during that session) We have purchased one for the entire team at work.
Rating: Summary: Wow Review: This may be overstating the case a little, and I admit that being an old Main frame person the idea of a drive that fits on my keychain that I can carry with me impresses me to no end.In these days of 100 gig HD's 256m doesn't seem like much but nothing is more portable. Perfect for a person who needs to install demo software at a customer location, or perfect for a presentation that needs to be put on a machine. You don't get much more small and compact that this drive. Fits on my keychain can carry it just about anywhere and plugs and plays. In fact the only downside to the drive IS the small size. I'm the type that loses my head if it isn't attached and loses his keys even easier. Although the drive does have privacy settings so a user would have to wipe and re-install without a password it still an expensive item to lose. Of course if you are more careful than me about such things then it will really make your life easier.
