Rating: Summary: Pockey 727 Review for Backup by Toby J. Review: I have been using my Pockey 727 for data backups on my laptop under Windows XP Professional for about 7 months, and it has worked flawlessly. My only complaint is transfer rate, but it maxes out the my old USB 1.1 and my new USB 2.0, so there is nothing to really complain about. It's a great plug-and-play device. I am buying a second one for archival storage of MP3 files of my 600 CDs and didn't consider any other product.
Rating: Summary: Excellent product sans..... Review: I loved the product. Beautiful design, very fast for a 4200RPM both on USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. This is just wonderful for desktop systems that has power to spare. XP/2000 users installation is a song. just plug it wait a minute and you'll see the mapped drive on the windows explorer. Hot swap is indeed helpful. In all this is worth the money. A coupla things would have made this the best. 1. User Manual does not have trouble shooting section. or FAQ 2. Wanna run on laptop without auxillary power? Forget it. Highly Recommended.
