Review: Please do not buy this device if you want to run it under Mac OS X - although it will work under Mac OS 8/9, support for OS X is "not planned" according to their service representatives.

Review: Sorry, that was about 1 hour per Gigabyte. No way this drive operates at even a tenth of its rated speed.

Review: The extra storage works great for backing up large amounts of data. Can be easily moved to different computers for transferring files or creating and restoring back-ups. Drive is plug and play so it is easy to set up. Sometimes Windows 98 willhang up or freeze during long periods of USB Drive inactivity but this seems to be a Windows problem not Buslink.

Summary: Great find
Review: There aren't many external hard drives out there for laptop users, so I was a little nervous about this investment, but it surpasses my expectations. It was easy to install and easy to transfer files to.
It works faster with a 2.0 usb driver, but you can find updates online.

Review: This drive is very unreliable. Backing up (copying) small number of files works ok; however when trying to copy large number of files, Windows 2000 starts to report I/O errors. When this happens the drive light stays on continuously and the drive does not respond any longer.
I will send it back and try to come up with some other back-up mechanism.

Summary: MP3 Heaven
Review: This is a great product. It took about one minute to install the software and another minute to pop in the USB cnnections and the power adapter. This is a very nice addition for me. I put all my music CDs on it. It works great with RealJukebox. It's also mobile so I can presumably take it to any other computer with USB ports. I can't comment on the price compared to other comparable devices but it's worked great for me. No problems.

Review: This product worked perfectly until the very day the warenty ran out. After that it stoped working all togather. I was on the phone with tech support (long distance) for an hour before i was informed that i will have to send the hard drive back to them to have it repaired (shipping and repairs both at my expence). 130 bucks may seem like a good deal but after all these expences it is more like 190 bucks. Not to mention all of the information that was on the hard drive is now lost.
