Rating: Summary: Trios HDD Switch Review: The good news: It's rated for ATA/100 drives but I've been using it with an older motherboard and ATA/66 drives for over 6 months. I also have one slave drive (for data) that any of the 3 switched drives can access. One of the switched drives is dual boot so the system runs four OSs. Great for development, beta testing and having one system for virus vulnerable situations. Far easier than a removable drive bay.Things to know: This switch requires a power-down and power-up (not just a reboot) when switching between primary drives (minor nuisance). I doubt that the 4th slave drive would work at ATA/100 (due to cabling complexity.) Still, I give this a solid FIVE.
