Summary: Win2000 Users Beware!!!
Review: So far, the disk drive itself seems to work very well. However, if you are a Win2000 user, watch out, the installation software DOESN'T WORK for win2k!! You have to manually install it yourself, with very little step by step guidance. I called their support and they were hesitant to give me step by step instructions since they didn't want to be liable. I had to search through my Win2k reference book and some websites to piece together the install myself.I would recommend that if you have Win2k, you NOT buy this unless you're fairly familiar with the inside of a computer, and don't mind piecing everything together...But if you have Win2k and want a simple install, then you definitely don't want a Maxtor drive - the install is pretty scary (tho decently straightforward on hindsight).

Review: This item was as easy to install as any and worked flawlessly in my old junk HP PC. It was just as easy to move from my old PC to my new Dell state of the art PC and continues to work flawlessly.

Review: This product, Maxtor 60 GB hard drive, is offered for a decent price, and is an overall good product. The actual product is well made, reliable, and efficiant. It can store a wopping 60 GB, so it is a wonderful upgrade to ANY computer! I highly reccomend this product to others.
