Review: Purchase 200GB unit, two went bad within weeks and Maxtor will only keep exchanging. Lost alot of time and data, unit kept wanting to be formated. NO solution from Maxtor support. Don't buy these units if info is important.

Review: The Maxtor A01A200 works exactly as advertised. Setup was easy and the one touch process, while not exactly "one touch", is the easiest backup procedure I have seen to date.This device is perfect for backup and as an extra drive. Read performance was fine, even over USB 1.1.
