Rating: Summary: Portable & Nice Review: I bought this drive along with a Compaq centrino notebook, it comes in black with a driver CD that you probably won't need if your OS is Windows XP (both Pro or HE). Drive speed is faster than classic drives, and it's sleek design matched the centrino design of my notebook, however, the manufacturer released a titanium version of the same drive (SmartDisk FDUSB-TM2) which better matches Compaq, Toshiba and Sony centrino notebooks.

Review: They don't bother telling you in the product description that this floppy drive can't be used to boot your computer system from this drive........Had to find out the hard way after scanning the files on the driver disk and users manual where it's noted in small print.
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: Works great. Part of the reason I got this was because it was so small. However, because it was so small there is no extra room between the disk and the drive. One of my disks got stuck in there because the disk label had peeled up slightly and got snagged in the drive. I was able to retrieve my disk with pliers. Admittedly, this is not a defect of the drive but something to take into consideration.
