Summary: A poorly designed DVD drive for Macintosh users
Review: The Artec DHM-G48 DVD-ROM drive is compatible and worked with my Macintosh G4 despite the system requirements stating it is a Windows/PC only drive. When pushing the CD tray closed on a G4, the bottom edge on the front of the tray gets caught on the top edge of the CD door cover on the Mac, stopping the CD tray from retracting back into the drive. You either have to hold the door down every time you insert a CD, or leave the door cover off of your computer. I would recommend avoiding Artec and looking for a different drive.
