Review: If you have Win98 fine. But if you have win2000 forget it. It won't detect CD-R discs. Plus the tech support is terrible. There is no tech support phone #, and they don't return your emails.Make sure your drive is compatble with all windows os's.

Review: Over and over I've tried to get this to work. With absolutely no luck. I wish I would have read these reviews before my purchase! It would have saved me cash and grief. Why I keep trying to get my laptop to connect with the drive is beyond me!

Review: This product has given me more grief that I could ever imagine. Installing the product is pretty easy, and it is recognized in "My Computer". But getting the software packages to recognize the CD recorder is the major problem. I have bought 3 different CD recording software packages, downloaded all the software updates which are 'supposed' to deal with the recognition problem, and the software still does not recognize the CD recorder. So, the bottom line is, a very useless product! VERY useless indeed.
But looking on the bright side, if you want a second CD-ROM to add to the one you already have, it works great!

Summary: TERRIBLE - DO NOT BUY
Review: This Product is terrible, do not buy...I purchased this product for my computer because of its USB port, and also because of its reasonable price. Don't let these things trick you into purchasing this item, it is not worth it. I have a very new laptop with easily all of the requirements, and with Windows 2000. I brought it home, and set up was easy, and then attempted to load the software, but I was unable to do so. So I followed the instructions to attempt to reload the software, and it still wouldn't work. Now if this wasn't enough, I attempted to uninstall the software, and was unable to do so using all of my removal programs. THIS PRODUCT IS A TERRIBLE WASTE OF TIME, and I am writing this to try and save you the stress and trouble I had to deal with.

Review: Unfortunately I didn't read these reviews until after I bought this product. I thought it would work fine with my laptop, which has Windows 95. Ccome to find out after installation that Win 95 doesn't support the USB. They advertise on their box that it is compatible with Win95...it is NOT! This device is a total waste! I only hope I can get my $ back from the store I bought it from!
