Summary: Bought it love it
Review: Although i have had mine for only 6 months, i still have had no problems. i get a flawless 8x write every time. i am useing a adaptec 2930 scsi card. I highly recomend them. but as with any scsi device make sure you get a reliable scsi card. and remember the warrinty is one year(if you look at the owners manual). also it is best ot plug them straight into the wall not a surge protector or battery backup

Review: brought product because it was external stop working for no reason after the 90day warranty expired it worked great for 90 days i think it was programmed to do so to much a coincidence. burned cds slowly and works best with tdk recordables other brands it spits back out the drive is not repairable support from hp is much to be desired.
