Review: This CD-Writer Drive is excellent but the software that comes with it is BAD. The software that comes with this drive is for the novice user. You just click once or twice and you're burning a CD. However, for the advanced user this software is ... and you will have to buy another soft like NERO 5.5 or Easy CD Creator 5.

Summary: Excxellent cdwriter
Review: This cdwriter is easy to install,although I could not make it secondary slave to my CDRom, as instructions told me. It is fast, accurate, and I can back up my entire hard drive in less than an hour. Software is excellent as well.

Summary: Best cd writer out there
Review: This is my first cd burner and it was easy to install and easy to get started. The software was a little disapointing. To burn easy you need nero burn. But that is the only flaw. I would recomend this to anyone.

Summary: Simple, even for a beginner
Review: This is my first CD burner, so I can't it compare with other models, and I am comfortable with computer hardware but certainly no expert.Installation was very easy and the instructions were very clear. The software also installed easily, and after only 20 minutes a was off and running. I cant imagine other models being any easier or simpler, so I recommend this to all users. -extra-
A year on and I am still a very happy customer. HP have replaced their MyCD software with RecordNow (a free download from their site), which has added CDDB support, and a new interface, but is broadly the same.
I have seen CD writing/copying software for sale, but can't think of any reason why I would want to replace the HP software.

Summary: Nice and fast cdrw
Review: This stuff writes the 12x cdr very fast and the writing quality is very good. Although the price may be a little bit high, yet it'll be the mainstream cdrw in the market. If you don't wanna let your cdrw be outdated you should buy a 12x cdrw. And hp package includes every software you need. In addition, if you buy it right now, you'll have a $50 rebate. It's very cool.
