Review: i bought one of these and was a little concerned at first not being familiar with Retail Plus or Pine Tech and because the price was too good to believe. i was excited when i opened the box and found out that this is actually a Toshiba drive. the installation was a breeze and i have burned a lot of cds for me and my friends without any problems. i highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to upgrade from a slower-speed burner.

Review: I was concerned about installing an internal CD-RW drive, but this product was simple. It actually took my husband & I longer to figure out how to get the cover off of our tower than it did to install the drive. I was amazed at how simple it was. Using it has been just as simple. My husband has been busy creating CD's ever since.

Summary: totally failed after 2 years...
Review: This drive was easy to install and did work great when it was new, but after about 1 year having it, it wouldn't eject CDs unless I held the door on the front open for it. This drive has also made many faulty CDs which didn't work and were wasted. After 2 years of having it just broke down all together. When I turn on the computer it makes all sorts of wierd sounds and the lights flash randomly and everything. Luckily I was thinking of buying a faster DVD/CD-RW Combo drive anyway. I wouldn't reccomend it for any longer term use or for anyone who expects dependability from it.

Review: This is my first burner, I was not used to burning CD'S cuz I never had a burner before, but my friend installed it for me and I burned my first CD and the quality is Awsome. Its simple to use. Its a must have burner! I was woried about the quality because it wasn't that expensive, but when I received it and installed it, I knew I made a good decision and was proud to have a Reatil Plus burner as my first burner. Im telling you this is a must have burner! If I never used a burner before and it worked out great for me and it will work out great for you too!
