Review: This drive is terrible! It came with my new custom built computer at the recommendation of the builder, and it has been nothing but problems.

First of all, you have to DOWNLOAD patches just to make it burn on a CD-R...by default it will only record on at CD-RW.

I bought this product to back up my accounting software on cd. HOWEVER, this drive will NOT allow the windows XP cd burner to work...you have to use their software to burn cds. And their software is tedious, problematic, and not user friendly in any way, shape, or form.

There is no tech support whatsoever. Once you buy this product you are on your own. The help button takes you to an internet site that is useless.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Buy the a Ricoh drive instead...they integrate perfectly with all programs and burn flawlessly!
