Rating: Summary: A vice grip on your head Review: Anticipation had been building as I awaited the arrival of this unit for weeks and weeks, upon it's arrival the sleek unit begged for a battery to be installed and before I even read the manual I had to power it up and scan thru the channels.
Though the sound quality is good that is about all I can say positive about this unit. The headband is stiff and non adjustable, the ear pieces ram into your ear and feel like a cold thumb, very uncomfortable to wear. The reception on am/fm and the weather bands is weak.
Adjustments to volume and tuner are small and hard to use while wearing the unit. It's made of hard plastic that is still and slippery and other than the ear pieces that are crammed in your ears the rest of the unit slides all over your head.

Rating: Summary: Hard to program and very uncomfortable. Review: I've used Sony am/fm headphone radios for years and have never had one so difficult to program, tune or wear. The product arrived without the manual(brand new). After finally figuring out how to set the channels,I had the painful misfortune of trying to wear the thing with the "ear daggers" poking into my ears. The headband is very hard to adjust and no matter what you do...the ear microphones push solidly and painfully into the ear canal. You can wear them for about five minutes, tops.
I don't recommend this radio at all.

Adults will think they know better and will wonder what a NASA astronaut with his/her funky headgear is doing in your neighborhood. Only you will know the truth behind this telekinetic/telepathic transmission device. In addition to the various high-tech features, you also have a constant digging pain in your cranium - a reminder of the sins you have commited by scaring those neighborhood kids. Truly a bargain at any price!
