Rating: Summary: Colorful, inexpensive, work just fine! Review: I am not sure why some other reviewers rated these floppy disks so low, but I have had absolutely no trouble with them - and I have used them on a number of different computers (from home to office). They work perfectly fine every time and have not failed at all. The price is right; they're colorful (my day certainly needs brightening-up sometimes!), and the box they come in is great storage. While it may be true that now we have better storage media in the form of CD writers, not everyone has a CD writer - or wants one for that matter! Meanwhile, all PC's still come with a floppy drive and these disks will work perfectly.

Rating: Summary: Looks can be Very Deceiving Review: I bought a pack of these disks (in translucent colors) about a year ago for three reasons: their cool looks, the neat case, and their cheap price. Now, I regret it; the only good thing about them is the case (one star for the case and another star for the colors, no stars for their insides). I would only recommend these disks if you attach absolutly no value to your data or pictures and have no intention of accessing your information. In the past couple months I used these disks to store some archived data concerning my workplace. Lately, when it was necessary to access this information, the computer was unable to. At first I blamed the software, but was suspicious when more files became inaccesable. After running Scandisk, I found the files were damaged because the disk contained numerous BAD SECTORS. I have since switched back to the reliable Fuji disks. I have used Fuji disks for the past six years and have NEVER had a problem with them. Actually, I've never had a problem with any brand of disks except Memorex. The Fuji disks, by the way, are also available in rainbow colors and look even better than the Memorex ones.

Rating: Summary: Awesome "film" for my digital camera. Review: I have a Sony Mavica and use these disks whenever I go on a trip as temporary "film" until I get back home. I haven't lost a picture yet on them. Once I get back home, I burn them to a CD-RW, but they are great for going on the road and not having to take a laptop with a CD-RW and media along. I just put the case in my oversize camera bag with a couple extra charged batteries and away I go. For the price, they can't be beat.

Rating: Summary: Floppy disks are old news but very usefull Review: If you don't have a burner yet, what are you waiting for? Floppy disk are pretty usefull sometimes but let's face it, they're getting old and 1.44 megs doesn't store much these days (except for small things like homework and stuff like that) I don't use floppy disks much now a days but the price is pretty good for 40 floppy disks. So if you don't have a burner yet (cd-rw preferably) then i guess you can am.. probably.. get.. these.. i guess... but get a burner already will ya? ^_^
Rating: Summary: These discs are good for only one thing Review: These discs are good for only one thing..the container they come with...which is what I am giving the star. I have had many problems with these type of discs despite many efforts to protect them and store them properly. I do not recommend buying these unless you can't find a storage bin for your discs anywhere else or want to use the discs for coasters.
