Summary: BLAZING fast!
Review: This drive is amazingly fast compared to my old USB flash drive (a 128 MB Macally FD-128 Flash Drive). I did not do a strictly scientific test by any means, but the difference is incredible. The old 128 MB drive read a 34.6 MB file in 33 seconds and wrote the same file back in 50 seconds. The Cruzer Titanium read that same file in 1.8 seconds (my reaction time on the stopwatch may be a little slow), and wrote the file back in 2 seconds. I wrote a 200 MB zip file to the Cruzer in 15 seconds and read the file off the Cruzer in 12.5 seconds. I think even these non-scientific results speak for themselves. I am very impressed with this drive. The flashing blue access light is a very nice touch (especially when it starts flashing like a maniac during a large transfer). I highly recommend this stylish, fast, and solidly built drive to anyone.

Summary: Where is it??
Review: This product has been advertised on Amazon and on the Sandisk website since early February, with no indication of when it will be available. It's ridiculous that it is not yet in stock.

Summary: Quit Working in Just 80 days!
Review: Well, after reading the reviews - both good and bad - I took the chance and purchased a 512 MB Cruzer Titanium in late Nov. 2004. It worked fine through the first week of Feb. 2005. It was really fast and I liked the "slide away connector". I used it at both work and home. Then, it started "disconnecting" when I tried to read or write files to/from it. After a couple days of erratic use it quit responding at all. The problems occurred regardless of which PC I connected it to. Now, I have a device with more than 250 MB of data on it (both home and work information) and I have no way of getting this data off of it. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER! - too many reviewers saying similar NEGATIVE things. Be forwarned - don't use this as your only place to store files. BE EVEN SMARTER: DON'T BUY A TITANIUM CRUZER AT ALL! I'll see how helpful Sandisk's tech support people are.
