Rating: Summary: Cusin with Cruzer Micro Review: I've been using this 128 Mb Cruzer for over three months. Currently I've stored over 200 high resolution photos and have only used one fifth its capacity. I've had no trouble accessing the drive or retreiving files from it. I've creaed specific folders for catagorizing the photos. When and if I run out of memory I'll just delete photos I don't like or need, which will free up some memory. I will be purchasing a 512 MB Cruizer since I have a gift certificate from amazon.com. I will use that Cruizer for storing my 4 novels and accompanying criteria for publishing. That Cruizer should hold at least 40, 400 page manuscripts.
I also have a DELL 64 MB and have had no trouble with it either, but they are more expensinve than SanDisk. Good luck with your purchase.
Rating: Summary: Rugged and Reliable Review: This is my first flash drive and I am very impressed with this device. I'm currently a college student and use the flash drive for my computer programming class. I'm working on a semester-long project at home and school so it's very important that I have a reliable device.
Firstly the Micro is a very durable piece of equipment. Despite several drops and bumps I've had no problems at all. It's rubberized coating seems to help with it this as well. It's size is fairly small so there is no problem carrying it with you and it can be hooked to a keyring or the included neck strap.
The file transfer speed is very fast. Larger files may take several seconds but smaller file transfer is almost instantaneous. The 128 MB size is fine for my purposes right now, but with price drops I will probably go for the 256 or 512 version on my next purchase.
The Micro has a bright blue LED light that is on constantly and flickers when the drive is in use. This light is very helpful in reminding me to stop the device before removing it. There are two different caps included and unlike other reviewers, I've never had a problem with them popping off.
Overall I'm very happy with this flash drive and will look to SanDisk again when I need another one.
