Summary: Remarkable product
Review: If you're looking for the next generation personal stereo, this is it. The sound quality is just superb. FM reception is quite good. I haven't used the voice recorder, so I can't comment on that. The software that accompanies the product is rock solid. Battery life seems to be about 10 hrs.

I do have my gripes:
* A device of this quality deserves better than ear buds.
* I found the belt clip case to be very awkward. Just inserting the stereo in the case can change the settings.
* The operating controls/menu system is fairly involved.

But when all is said and done, this is without a doubt the most bang for audio buck I've ever encountered. If you want true, cutting-edge sound quality in a ridiculously small package, this is for you.

Summary: Wonderful sound but ouch, those earbuds.
Review: I returned the iPod I purchased because the Musicmatch Jukebox software really sucked. I went with the iAudio CW200 based on the other reviews I read at Amazon.com and couldn't agree more. This is so easy to use and download music into. The sound is fabulous. The size is scarcely larger than a cigarette lighter. The only complaint (if you can call it that)is the earbuds are too large to fit comfortably so I had to purchase a different headset. Get one..you'll love it!

Review: Trust me, everything you read about this unit is true, true, true! After weeks of research I ordered mine last Sunday. I tracked the order in anticipation and got it today. (Wednesday)I got home at about 7pm and have now mastered the unit and it's 11pm. I am listening to it as I type. Beautiful! I even like the earbuds!

The carton was really beat up when it arrived so I was a bit aprehensive. When I installed the battery and nothing happened I started to feel a bit concerned. When I connected the USB cable it lit right up! What a feeling! I then inserted the disc and the drivers downloaded effortlessly as well as the nice software interface. I can organize my music into folders on the computer and presto, they're on the machine!I have it full (82 songs)and can't wait to play it in the car tomorrow on my way to work!

Well, better get to bed. No problem as I already can set the timer to shut it down in an hour. Buy this unit now, you can't go wrong!

Summary: try it!
Review: overall, it is great! I like it very much. The voice recording quality is too good to believe!!
The only thing I am not very happy is the FM radio, it sounds like not very sensitive to some weak signal.

Summary: Absolutely Fabulous
Review: I take Iaudio with me wherever I go. It is small and light, has great sound through its earphones, and it is easy to use. Downloading music from the computer is quick. I didn't even need the manual to figure anything out. I have dropped it a few times, with thank goodness no effect. It picks up fm broadcasts clearly from whole variety of places, including in the middle of a Canadian forest. It is one of the best items I have ever bought. The only caveats I have are - I wish that the carry case was black, instead of white, and that it came with removable memory cards. As it is, the 256 kb is enough for hours and hours of music, and French language lessons! I highly recommend this player.

Summary: Awesome sound and bullet proof
Review: The CW200 flew off my Harley at 80mph, was hit by at least 2 cars, and still works as if it was new. I purchased it based on it's audio spec's and reviews. It is awesome! The software installed on my win98 machine at work, and on my xp system at home flawlessly. No features were disabled until you send the software company more money for an upgrade. All features work well. The FM reciever is only useful in town, and does not have much range. However, that is to be expected in a unit this small. It has always been connected to my XP system through a USB hub, so the other customer who complained that it does not work through a USB hub is probably not powering the hub with an external supply (sometimes required). At the very least he is suffering from operator error. Buy it, you will love it.

Summary: Great sound and battery life
Review: I don't have a great deal of experience with other MP3 players, but I am very happy with the sound, capacity, and battery life from this player.

Summary: Big thing in small package
Review: This is all I was waiting for for a long time
It have all the features you need for an MP3 player plus some aditionals you didnt knew were possible in such a small thing.
Sound quality is remarcable and weight and dimension didnt exist.
The only contra I see is you canot download from the device to the computer and you canot use the flash memory for saving other kind of file outside audio.(this canot be used as a con but other such devices can be used as a temporary storage)

Summary: Bullet proof - awesome sound too
Review: I purchased a CW200 256 after lots of online research. It is rated the best and has lived up to it.

The software installed on my win '98 machine at work in seconds and on my XP machine at home just as easily. Within minutes of opening the package, I had installed software and 8 albums on the COWON CW200 256. Every day I find more neat features in the software. All software functions worked and none required me to send more money to a software company to be enabled. The unit is better than I expected by orders of magnitude. Good job COWON.

1.5 days after the CW200 256 was delivered, I was riding my new Harley to Tempe, Az for the weekend. I was stoked about the tunes in my helmet. Then it all came to a terrifying halt. All of a sudden the music stopped and my earphone plug was swingin' in the breeze. I should have used the neck strap provided, but I had not. This was bad. I slammed on the brakes, rode the wrong way down the interstate (on Memorial Day weekend copfest - on a Harley), and found the case 1/2 a mile back between the divided highway (yes in the middle).

I dashed across the interstate and picked up the case. I then walked north and found the CW200 256. It was about 20 yards north of the case and had been hit by at least 2 vehicles. The battery compartment won't stay closed, but it works. It works as well as it did new. 1 piece of ductape and the unit rox. WOW!

Thanks COWON!!! This Unit Rox!
