Summary: Cool and reliable
Review: A high-quality CD-R with a counterintuitive BLACK reflective surface, what can be cooler than this? I have used these discs for 3 years and none of them went wrong. Just love them that much. Strongly recommended.

Summary: excellent
Review: after looking for some cheap cd-r's i found these about a month ago, and ordered one pack. Now I only have 3 cds left and I've ordered two more spindles. These cds are great. High-quality, no defects/problems, even the spindle they come on is durable and useful. the price makes these a bargain. if you are going to burn a lot of stuff to cd, then order several packs of these, you won't be disappointed

Summary: not even cool...
Review: i bought a pack of these at office max or something like that and i was all uber excited to release band demos on a black cd, how cool is that right? well i come to find much to my disay that my cd drive does not recognize them , NONE of them worked. on any other computer either. no idea what the problem is but ive never had that happen before with a brand new pack of cdr's , the site was pretty helpful and they say they are sending a brand new pack in a few weeks... .free of charge looks like. cant beat the service. ill give these another try, they look awesome and sound great... when they work

Summary: Finally found these again!
Review: I bought several packs of these CDR's back in 2002 and I was never able to find them again! I kept buying whatever was on sell or whatever I could use rebates for. Boy, was I a moron! I have used almost every brand of CDR and the one I remember are these - most of my cd collection are these and none of them have ever gone bad - even when I barely scratched them or if they had a slight smudge. I am definitely impressed with these.
Not only are they a good quality, but they are an awesome price also!
I am back to using them, baby!

Ok, it is sad I am so psyched about these. Please do not make fun of me until you try these yourself.

Summary: Great CDRs
Review: I have used dozens of different brands and colors of CDR's, and the Memorex black ones are the ONLY ones that have NEVER given me any trouble. I have Memorex black cdrs in my car that have been there for 3 years. They've been through the hottest summers and the coldest winters. To this DAY they still play great. All other cdrs that i leave in my car get ruined by the heat. The black cdrs are not exactly the "nicest-looking" cdrs on the market, but they are SUPERB in terms of performance. If you have some valuable information or music that you want to keep forever, i strongly recommend the Memorex black CDR.

Summary: No complaints here
Review: I just finished my third 50 spindle of these, and I have not had a failure yet. Honest.... I use them for data and music, and they work at home, at work, in my truck, and everywhere else I have used them.

Summary: Great media
Review: I originally got these disks because I was having trouble with my car's cd player skipping with regular silver disks. I read on the internet that black disks can track better and sure enough, all burns have played perfectly. I have used 4 or 5 different drives (from cheap OEM drives to Plextor) and they all worked. These are the only disks I use for music cd's anymore.

Summary: Worked fine for me, used them everywhere
Review: The media worked fine for me, got a pack once as a gift and used them all. Between work, home, and laptop - burned them on cd-r's and dvd-r's and all worked. No idea why some reviews complain about "black" cds being bad. You can buy cd-r's in red, blue, orange, silver, and ones that look like old 45 records, etc... It's just the color, it's not some other format. So if you're having trouble, don't blame the color. Memorex is a good brand name for cd-rs or dvd-rs so ignore those talking about an issue with "color".
