Summary: Prodisc
Review: I would surely never buy anything by Memorex, Imation, Verbatim, Sony, or TDK, because they're disloyal.

The ATIP on all of those brands are either Prodisc, RiTEK, Sony Corp. AKA Lead Data and CMC Magnetics, which are all the worst factories in the world.

Do not buy this product, they cannot write 48x, and the pthalocyanine dye is terrible.

Look for FujiFilm, they are all Taiyo Yuden manufactured, and I consider Taiyo Yuden to be the #1 manufacturer.

Maxell 50 pack "audio" CD-R's are also Taiyo Yuden, they're the same thing except a different pre-groove telling a stand-alone burner it's an audio CD-R

I repeat, DO NOT, BUY, THIS, PRODUCT
It's a waste of money for a piece of ...

Summary: Good dependable media
Review: I'm not sure what would cause a bad review of these things. I'm using a Mac g4 with an internal cd/dvd combo drive with great results. I've made music and data discs for a number of people with macs and windows machines. And for home cd systems and cars and they all worked perfectly.
So I'd have to say you will problably be OK with these, and if not selll them to a friend, they'll probably work for them, if they have another type of machine that is.

Summary: good quality
Review: It really doesnt matter what speed a cd writes,as long as it writes.I have a tendancy to use alot of cds,and I like these. They have 80 minutes and are able to fit usually about 17-19 songs on them (depends on how long the songs are). These always work for me.Never has one failed me.So these are a must-buy.Get some!

Summary: Is it live, or is it Memorex??
Review: It's Memorex! And with these CD-R's you're sure to have problem free burning of music and software. With other brands, I've experienced skipping, delamination of the optical material and burning errors but with these Memorex CD-R's, I've not had one problem.

Summary: Excellent product, used over 400 over the years....
Review: Memorex cd-r's are one of the best cd-r's on the market.

I've been using them for the past 6 years or so and I've recorded around 400+ cd-r's over the years and probably have only had maybe a dozen bad cd's.

Usually when you have a bad cd-r it is because I've gotten in such a hurry that I forget to turn off the screensaver that could cause problems in the recording of the cd (user mistake, not the cd-r). lol.

Advice for users that aren't too familar with recording cd-r's, try not to leave your screen saver on while recording, also try not to be doing other things on the computer at the same time as you are recording cd's. This will help ensure that your cd-r will record perfect 100% of the time.

Summary: Bad experience
Review: My exerience with these discs hasn't been good. They skip on my CD player, and my DVD player won't recognize them (neither will my portable CD player which I use in the car). The only place they work is on my PC at home and at work. I haven't had that problem with other brands. I had the same trouble with a box of Memorex CD-RW (which I bought at a different place). Actually, in that case, I two CDs out of 10 in the box weren't defective. Glad to hear others haven't been so unlucky.

Summary: Very Cheap Quality Media
Review: Now I know why these discs are so inexpensive. You get what you pay for. My Toshiba and Plextor burners can handle 16x and 40x burn speeds but anything over 2x with these discs will fail at about the 20% mark. When attempting to burn at speeds over 4x, these discs cause both my burners to vibrate loudly before failing. Maybe I just got a bad batch but the discs are very flimsy and the wavy imperfections in the dye is very obvious to the naked eye. When pulling the discs off the center holder of a cd jewel case, the discs will bend a lot more than any other disc I've used. You can tell these are low quality without even burning on them. I'm surprised I had a few successful burns. I will never buy these discs again and will stick to my favorite TDKs and Verbatims for a few dollars more.

Summary: Not the best CD-Rs, but far from the worst
Review: Over the years I've used several different brands of CD-Rs and CD-RWs. Memorex is a solid brand, most of the disks on a spindle will burn fine, though you will gt some coasters.

Personally, I'd prefer to use FujiFilm CDs (which are much more reliable), but Memorex is a better value. But for reliability and value, go with Imation.

Summary: Great CD's for everyday use
Review: These are very good CD's to use everyday.I usually burn 10 CD's a week and I haven't had a coaster once.I only burned songs onto them and they work fine.If you want CD's that you can use everyday with great quality, then buy these cuz these are great!Trust Me!!!

Summary: Basic, Simple, Affordable
Review: These CD-Rs are like your normal CD-Rs you would find anywhere else. They are easy to use, and they are affordable for the quantity you are getting.

There are no performance issues with these. I have used many Memorex products which have all worked out great, these included.
