Summary: So far so good
Review: I've burned about 25 of these cd's on my computer (TDK burner) and several more on my stereo's burner (Sony), and so far every one has worked perfectly. Pretty good track record, especially considering the unbelievable price.

I'm curious as to what kind of equipment those who have had problems are using.

Summary: Rarely a coaster
Review: I've tried a number of different brands and these Memorex CD-R's are the most reliable. WIth the cheap ones you always end up with a few duds (coasters) in every batch. With these Memorex discs I rarely ever burn a coaster.

You can find cheaper discs, but you'll have a hard time finding more reliable ones in this price range.

Summary: the best
Review: I've tried every brand you can think of. I almost never have a problem burning the CD. My problem is deterioration after a few months after the burn. All the cheap brands suck, and I will never buy Sony CD-Rs again. So far, the Memorex CD-Rs have been perfect. I never buy anything else. And, of course, you can't beat the price. After several hundred, I've never had a faulty burn and they have held up perfectly so far even with frequent use.

Summary: Blank CDs? I HAVE NEVER SEEN THOSE BEFORE!
Review: Just another generic pack of blank CDs... but hey, blank CDs are awesome, so they get a 4. I think Memorex is cool because that's what brand the majority of my blank CDs are. Also notice that these are EIGHTY minutes rather than SEVENTY-TWO or SEVENTY-FOUR as in some other blank CDs. That means you can fit an extra song or two, depending on length of the song.

Summary: Super Perfect
Review: Memorex CDR's are the only CD's that I use. Being a college student who drowns in a sea of downloads I need a reliable medium to spread the wealth and to back up data. To this date I have probably burned over 1000 or these beautiful CDR's with minimal coaster make'age(prob my own fault). The price is a blessing but I'd prob still buy these if they weren't. For a pile of plastic (as perfect as it is) there should be no need to pay [so much]. BUY THIS or better yet get the 100 spindle.

Summary: perfect
Review: Memorex is the best brand for CD-R. Never had any problems whatsoever with their CD-R's. Other brands have a tendancy to skip after repeated usage, not so with Memorex! Highly recommended.

Summary: High Quality Media
Review: Memorex is the best name in writable media. Fast service by Amazon by the by. Great product, works well on a fast CD burner. 50 for $10, can't beat dat. I'm out, holla back.

Summary: a very trustworthy brand of digital media
Review: Memorex is widely used and known by many people with access to CD Burners or CD drives. Memorex markets their CD-Rs at a very inexpensive price (with super mail in rebates to match, so you can get them sometimes at next to nothing), and they are also very reputable and trustworthy. I have not had a problem with Memorex yet.

I had mainly used memorex discs for trading live material from bands (the smashing pumpkins in general). Believe me, I have had more than enough time to try out every brand (one summer and over 1000 CDs worth of live material)...Imation, PNY, TDK, Maxell, Fuji-Film, Teon, Durabrand, Philips, No-Name Brand, everything. Among those, I would say that Memorex is one of the best I've used. The only brands I rank out memorex with is Fuji and TDK, because of the scratch resistant surface on those brands. I've used Memorex's blue-bottomed discs, as well as the green bottomed ones. My only complaint is that Memorex CD-Rs get scratched up quite easily. Besides that, this product would get a 5. Keep it up memorex, you're doing great!

Summary: Very Pleased with Memorex CD-Rs
Review: Memorex recordable media is consistently trashed by Internet gurus. I've never understood the hatred, as my own experience has been just the opposite.

I've been through several spindles of Memorex CD-Rs in the past three years. I've burned one single coaster to date, and that wasn't the fault of the disc--it was me, attempting a direct CD to CD-R copy, which resulted in a buffer underrun error.

I've had no problems with Memorex CD-Rs, either during burning or reading. Discs burned in late 2001 are still intact and read beautifully on my system.

Amazon's wonderful price only makes the brand more attractive. I know where I'm heading the next time that more are needed--and I just tipped off a friend a few minutes ago.

Summary: Didn¿t Work For Me
Review: My CD burner didn't like these CD-R's. I was having trouble finding the brand I had been using, so thought I'd try something new. I read the rave reviews here, and decided to give these Memorex CD's a try in my Marantz professional CD burner. They burned, but with a lot of static interfering with the music. I tried a second time, and got the same result. Went back to TDK with the same good results I'd had previously. I'm sure it matters what CD burner you use, whether or not these will work for you. Didn't work for me.
