The Epson GT-10000 high-performance flatbed scanner has an extra-large capacity that will accommodate even your hard-to-scan documents. The GT-10000 color scanner boasts resolutions of up to 600 x 2,400 dpi and 9,600 x 9,600 dpi interpolation. It uses Epson's Micro Step Drive technology for the best speed and consistency available in a workgroup scanner. The GT-10000 is similar to a photocopier because it opens on the long side, allowing you to position documents with ease. The lid is detachable and can be easily removed when scanning books or large items.The GT-10000 features an 11.7-by-17-inch scanning area with high-speed scan capabilities. For optimum color images, the GT-10000 offers 36-bit color depth. Its Xenon cold cathode fluorescent lamp is a high-intensity light source that is ready to perform without the normal warm-up time.
