An XGA native resolution of 1,024 x 768 ensures that projected images retain their clarity even at great distances, while color support of over 16.7 million shades results in accurate, true-to-life images that are sure to impress. Also contributing to the image quality are a high 950:1 contrast ratio, 3,300 ANSI lumens of brightness, and an 85% brightness uniformity. The LP790 operates at a distance of 3.2 to 35 feet with an adjustable projection screen size of 30 to 300 inches (diagonal). The manual zoom/manual focus lens has a throw ratio of 1.75 to 2.24:1 and an f number range of 47 to 61 mm, which combine with digital keystone correction of +40/-15 to help achieve squared-off, in-focus projections across the entire image. The 270 Watt SHP lamp provides 1,500 hours of lamp life, while the internal power supply consumes 400 W during normal operation. Compatible with SXGA, XGA, SVGA, VGA, and Macintosh, the LP790 also supports NTSC, PAL, RGB, SECAM, and NTSC video signals via its HD15 x 2 (analog RGB), DVI-D, 5BNC (RGBHV, RGsB), YPbPr, HDCP Digital Video, RGB component video (via 5BNC), S-video, and composite video inputs. USB, PS/2, and RS-232 ports are provided for control inputs. With a footprint of 12.7 by 13.9 inches, the LP790 sets ups on nearly any convenient surface and weighs just 13.2 pounds, making transportation easy. The internal fan emits less than 38 dB of noise during normal operation, while the internal 2.5-Watt stereo speakers with a 20-Watt subwoofer provides a clear and intelligible stand-alone audio output.
