Description:

Using refined construction and the latest DLP technology, the lightweight yet rugged Gateway model 210 projector is ideal for on-the-go professionals, weighing just 3.5 pounds and packing more easily than many hardcover thrillers. Standing under three inches tall, the magnesium-alloy 210 is built to last. The unit connects quickly and easily to a variety of video sources and offers an excellent, 900:1 contrast ratio for clear, nuanced images.

Built around Texas Instruments' Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, the projector provides vibrant and accurate video and graphics. At the heart of DLP technology is the Digital Micromirror Device, an array of ultra-efficient, brightness-enhancing microscopic mirrors. And the 210 is more reliable than non-DLP projectors, since its performance is not susceptible to heat, humidity, or vibrations.

The 210 offers vibrant, 1,500 ANSI lumens brightness from a user-replaceable lamp, 1,024 x 768 XGA resolution, and it's compatible with an array of video formats, including NTSC composite-, component-, and S-video, 480p, 720p, and high-definition 1080i. The projector offers maximum flexibility to suit various connectivity requirements, from RGB to USB and even direct-digital DVI.

The standard version supports various wired video sources, while an optional network module provides connectivity via 10/100 Ethernet, 802.11b wireless, and USB. (The network module has an embedded Windows CE operating system with application viewers that let you connect a USB flash drive for a quick presentation without a PC.)

The 210 includes a remote control with a built-in laser pointer, a carrying case, and a bevy of audio/video cables. The projector is supported by Gateway's standard one-year warranty.
