Summary: Really shouldnt complain
Review: For the price there is nothing to complain about. But i did have problems getting it to work correctly on WinXP. The software it was shipped with did not work, then i had to DL the latest version of the software. From there snapshots would not work, so i had to go back to the website and follow a troubleshooting tip on how to fix it. Now it seems to work correctly. Through all of this it did work flawlessly with Yahoo messenger though.

Summary: Cheap and simple. You get what you pay for.
Review: I bought this cam off ebay for $11.00 delivered. I installed it in about 5 minutes, from opening the box to seeing the first image. The problem with this cam is that it does not work in low light. All I got was a big dark moving blob. With lots of light, it works great. But, without light, good luck!

Summary: An outstanding value
Review: I bought this camera because it was the cheapest thing available and I only planned on using it one night to video conference with my family on Christmas Eve. For what I paid for this, I am very impressed. This camera does as well as any camera double it's price. There are 4 quality settings on the camera's software. The highest setting is very clear but also very choppy. I do not recommend it. The second setting also pretty clear and the video is pretty smooth. This is my preferred setting for video emails and for video chatting if you are both using high speed connections. The third setting is very smooth and a little blurry. This is ideal for video chatting if either user has a dial up internet connection. The final setting has perfectly smooth motion but is very blurry. I do not recommend this unless you are having a hard time video conferencing due to bad connections. All in all, it's more than worth the money though. I am active duty military and live 1500 miles away from home. After I got this I bought 3 more for relatives so that we could video conference together. It is just like being there. The Veo software uses Microsoft Netmeeting for video conferencing, but I personally recommend the MSN Instant Messanger. This had the best quality with the least amount of delay. Besides video conferencing though, you can send video email, take personal videos, or take snapshots to save or email. If you are looking for great quality, spend the extra money and get one of the Intel models, but if you just wanna spend a few bucks for a decent web-cam, get this. WORD OF WARNING...This camera requires a lot of light to operate efficiently. A single desk lamp with a 120V bulb is not enough for good quality. Mine only really looks good when my 2 main lights in the room are on. This, also, is something that may make you want to spend the money on a better model by Intel.

Summary: better than logitech
Review: i own a logitech quick cam, my fiance owns a veo stingray. i paid twice what he did and his cam is better than mine.

it spanks logitech in low light performance. it's not grainy at all. though the color is a bit off.

you can not beat this cam for the price.

Summary: Not bad at all for the price!
Review: I thought this webcam is definitely worth every penny. It is inexpensive and does the trick. If you are looking for something more hi-tech, then this may not be what you want, however, you looking for something simple to do simple little messages, or use on MSN Messenger...you got it all here! I'm very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it. I'm actually purchasing another to send up to my mother in Canada for Christmas!

Review: I use the Veo stingray for Yahoo video chatting, and it's been surprisingly reliable. No communication problems with Yahoo and the "small window" view is very clear. Great for my slow dial-up connection. Color gets a little funky in the "large window" view, but there are lots of picture controls to adjust the image settings.
