Description:
The Delphi SA10118 bundles a SKYFi XM Satellite Radio receiver with a versatile vehicle adapter kit, providing everything you need to enjoy XM's more than 100 channels of music, news, sports, and entertainment programming in your car, truck, or RV. You'll get crystal-clear reception thanks to XM's powerful satellites and vast network of repeater stations throughout the continental U.S. The SKYFi radio receiver requires a monthly subscription ($.9.95, no contract required). The base SKYFi receiver package (model SA10000) contains a receiver and a remote control. The compact SKYFi receiver features a large orangish-red 5-line display (with adjustable font size) that shows song title, artist, channel category, and channel name/number information. It has control buttons for on/off, saving song information to memory, and preset programming (up to 20 presets), as well as a scroll wheel that enables you to quickly search through the channel categories and stations. You can listen to one station while previewing program information on up to five other channels. Additionally, you can save the song and artist information displayed on the SKYFi radio receiver to help you remember your favorite songs when you hit the CD store. The line-out level control adjusts the audio level if it is too high, causing distortion, or too low for your car. To install SKYFi in a vehicle, hook up the included SKYFi vehicle adapter kit (model SA10002), which contains a cradle, a cassette adapter, an antenna, and a 12V power adapter. The cradle holds the SKYFi receiver and provides connections for audio, power, and antenna cables. You should mount the antenna on the roof of your vehicle. The 12V power adapter plugs into your cigarette lighter and powers SKYFi through the vehicle cradle. The cassette adapter, meanwhile, lets you listen to XM right through your car stereo's cassette deck. (The SKYFi FM modulator, model SA10030, is available separately for vehicles without a cassette player.) What's in the Box Delphi XM SKYFi radio receiver (SA10000), wireless remote control, 1 CR2032 lithium battery, a vehicle cradle, a small magnet-mounted vehicle antenna, a cassette adapter, a power adapter, and operating and quick start guides.
