Rating: Summary: A Waste of Money Review: A had a Typhoon TV Card with bt848 Chip before this Lifeview Flyvideo 98 and as far as I am concerned was far better , at least you could get some support from Anubis. The installation and setup was poor and frought with hang ups. Picture quality poor, lots of horizontal lines. I am useing a G Force Pro on Pentium III 600Mhz. AV in was sub standard to. Sent it back. I Think I will keep to my Typhoon.

Rating: Summary: BUY IT- Unlike some others, I like this card Review: I bought this card a week ago and I am very pleased with it. Comparing it to some other tv cards that my friends have, this card by far has better picture quality and the remote control is a plus. I love the mouse motion function on the remote. I can open and close programs while I am watching tv. Installion was easy too. The only negative is the radio program that comes with it. It is very poor.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding quality, It is a great value! Review: I love this product, the picture quality was great, the set up was very simple. I have win 98 and the product works better then my old Hauppauge unit.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding quality, It is a great value! Review: The device nearly crashed my computer after a very lousy setup installation. Then upon installation I got vertical static bars on top of the displayed TV image which I couldnt get rid of. Trying to configure the displayed image is nearly impossible (Like I understand what IRSC_IR cable modes mean which wasnt in the manual) When I tryed to contact Lifeview, their manual has no address, no phone number no nothing about them, no tech support too. Oh and there was a missing IR reciever too so the remote was worthless. What I managed to get on screen was very fuzzy on most channels, as a TV tuner, your better off using your ancient VCR, you'd get better reception that way =) Bottom line... absolute garbage... No support or way to contact LifeView, poor installation software, terrible manual, very substandard video performance. This capture card is a rip off, go spend your $ on some other video capture company (Get the new Voodoo card with TV tuner built into it.) (Oh and the shipping labels are on their way, im getting my money back for this device) ((PS: Im a computer engineer with 10 years experience with computer hardware, take my word for it.))

Rating: Summary: BUY IT- Unlike some others, I like this card Review: This is the worst purchase I made all year. After finally completing the bug filled installation, you will surely be disappointed with: poor customer service, poor picture quality, channels you should have not coming in at all, a partially working remote control, a vanishing mouse pointer, countless reboots due to FlyVideo crashing your operating system(I have Windows 98), and a screen that will turn to black and when you try to close the program - everything will close except the sound - which you will be unable to get rid of without restarting windows. To secure a miserable tv card experience, FlyVideo '98 is the way to go!
