Summary: Outdated
Review: I haven't seen this product at all, but why waste your money on outdated technology? Floppy disc storage? Any storage less than CD capacity is wasted money. I'll wait on the next generation product.

Summary: Great Buy
Review: I understand that there is new technology avaliable DUHHH.
This works great for what it is intended for. I have a sony Mavica and it is great for checking out the pictures. People who have to have 5 megapixel pictures do not understand the true meaning of what more Megapixels mean.
Do not listen to the self proclaimed experts, if you will notice they never bought one!
Yes If I had a 1,000.00 Digital video cam then I would not have much use for this. Video out on a digital camera..not many.
Anyway, this is a great product. I highly recommend it

Summary: The best digital camera accessory I own
Review: Microsoft's TV Photo Viewer makes it easier than ever to make photo albums and show them on TV.
Unlike digital cameras which only display recent photos that still live in the memory card, the TV Photo Viewer can show any photo you've ever taken.

Microsoft includes a easy to use software app for the PC. Select up to 40 photos, insert a floppy disk, and you have an album ready to show in about a minute.

The TV Photo Viewer itself sits on the TV. The floppy disk albums are viewed using a small remote control. The photos look bright and clear.

This is the best digital camera accesory I own. I would recommend it to anyone else with a digicam.

Summary: Very nice product for showing digital photos
Review: Setting up the set-top box was easy. I installed the CDROM software and made my first floppy album. Carried it over to the TV, popped it in, pressed the remote control, and a contact sheet appeared on the screen. From there it works like a slide projector, just press Forward or Backwards to see the photos.

I like this product. Making floppy disk albums is incredibly fast and easy, and floppy disks are cheap. I ignored the software's suggestion to limit the number of images to 20 for best quality, never the less with 40 images on one floppy disk the photos looked very good on my 27 inch RCA TV.

The PC software also lets you e-mail a completed album to a friend. Presumably if they also have a TV PhotoViewer then they can download the e-mail to a floppy disk and see the photos on their own TV.

Summary: John Harrold's review is absolutely worthless!
Review: Sure, John. I'll buy one of your graphics cards with video-out capabilities and move my computer into my living room (NOT!). Sounds like you are having a hard time selling your graphics cards and Microsoft just made it harder! I won't buy your graphics card, but I do have one of the Microsoft Photo Viewer's on order.

Summary: e-mail feature is great
Review: The e-mail feature sends your TV photo album to your friends. The people you e-mail to can your photo album on their own TV. Great feature, easy to use.

Summary: Definitely recommend it for anyone who takes digital photos
Review: The TV Photoviewer gets "two thumbs up" all the way.

I have been taking digital photos for a couple of years, and from time to time scan old photos. After opening the TV photoviewer box, I got it set up on my TV and working in no time. The software that came with it is the easiest album-maker software I've ever used.

I made about a dozen albums on floppy disks. Each had several dozen of my best handpicked photos. I brought them down to the living room and my family has been glued to the TV ever since.

This is a great product I will use over and over again.
