Summary: It Was Baaaaddddd News!
Review: Before i purchased this software i was seriously excited, and thought ' Wow know i can carry on doing what i do, and continue and maybe extend my music making capabilities.' The day i recieved this product i picked it up and installed it. Straight away My 500 odd ram pc was saving it to my drive, v....e....r.....y..... slowly, but i thought it was normal. Then when i turned the software on, the large picture came on, making me think this software was going to be fun, easy and very user friendly, but guess what? IT WASN'T! It has a very difficult setting and is very hard to use and even though i read the manual i still didn't know how to use that thing!!!!!!!!! I would definetly suggest purchasing "magix music maker 5 delux" it is WEEEEYYYYY better!

Summary: Not Bad once you get past the hassles

No one I know has the port these cables hook up to. I have a brand new XP. If you just want to connect to your keyboard get the USB Music Studio Kit.

Both this and the USB program mentioned above will not work right unless you register them. That isn't easy. You have to disconnect the firewall before sending the registration data or it won't go through. I tried a lot of times before giving up. Support clued me in. Signing up on the site instead of through the set-up program won't help you run the program.

This program also requires that you download a dll file and put it in your windows system if you want the digital orchestra to work. You have to find the Digital Music starter kit, find downloads and read skinny type--and the dll file is newer than the 1.66 version asked for--fortunately it works.

What is nice about this program is that it has different features than the USB program. Including video instructions, jammin keys and a few other things.
