Summary: absolutely smooth sailing
Review: We were looking around for a simple router/firewall, that would automatically protect against hackers, and streamline net access in our small office network. Amazingly, this incredibly inexpensive product does the trick nicely. It took about 15 minutes to get up and running, counting the time to type into the router our Sympatico DSL internet account details: name, password, and set connection type to PPPoE. Getting notieably faster internet speeds now that one of the workstations is completely finished from having to work the tiresome role of a proxy server. Bonus, it has cool power user features: triggered port opening, and client filtering based on time/day of week. The two guys who left negative comments seem totally clueless because: first, the firmware in the unit is burning fast; second, I configured the router with great ease before connecting to the internet. Excellent little product, as another reviewer said, as it's in a hard plastic casing, avoid dropping on stone/concrete flooring.
