Summary: Largish, but solid and reliable
Review: I own two of these, one for my Macs (Seagate 200GB) and one for my PCs (WD 250GB). Having owned many other enclosures, I can easily say that these are the best I have used, absolutely no problems and great performance after months of continuous usage. They are not petite, but the tradeoff is there is plenty of room inside. Installing a HD is as easy as screwing four shock-absorbing mounts to the drive and sliding it into the case, no struggles. They are solidly built, I take them with me on photo shoots and do not worry. The end-caps are plastic but they are cosmetic. FW800 is fast enough for 150+MB Photoshop files. If I could make one change, I would integrate the power-brick into the case so there is one less thing to carry and one less cable, but that is minor and all other cases use external bricks. Highly recommended.
