Summary: Low Price, Fast Speeds, and Tons of Settings
Review: I think my title really says it all. I couldn't find a brand name router for a lower price, and it turns out it has a ton of settings. This was real easy to set up even for first timers like myself. I have recommended it to my family and I recommend it for anyone else on a budget and wants to share their Internet.

Summary: Easy Setup and Simple Configuration
Review: My setup was just as simple as everyone elses. I unpacked it from the box, plugged it in, followed the intructions, and I was up and sharing my DSL speeds with the rest of the house in no time. Configuring the router with firewall settings and everything was fairly simple. I just wish the manual was in paper so I can hold it instead of on the CD in PDF format.

Summary: Quick Install, Very Inexpensive and Great Features
Review: I had a one port router and five port switch before.... I went to the store and bought this to see if it could replace the two products I currently had. Within about 30 minutes I had realized I just purchased one D-Link product ...that replaced my other networking products and out performed them as well. So I sold my other router and switch ....

I basically got this for free and it has more features and faster speeds than my older configuration.

The installation went smoothly, I just carefully followed the instructions on the quick install guide given with the product. I notice a faster speed, and there are a ton of features I don't even know how to use this yet.

I highly recommend this product for people who are in my previous situation.

Summary: Fast and Easy Install and Faster Speeds
Review: The router I had before this was a different brand, a few years older, and the other day it just decided to quit on me. I wanted a router that would last longer than my old one and I have heard a whole bunch of good things about D-link routers. After reading up on the latest, greatest, and not to mention the most inexpensive DSL/Cable routers out there this D-Link DI-604 was my choice.

Standing up to what I've read on other review sites and amazon[.com] this product didn't disappoint me at all. In fact I was surprised to find a speed difference when transferring files within my network. I had a 10/100mbps capable router before, but it didn't perform like this.

Installation was also a breeze since I knew all of my settings from before. There are even more features than the router I had before. Now I just need to learn what they can do for me.

Summary: Worked flawlessly after following simple config on ATTBI
Review: Worked flawlessly after plug into my home network, replacing a
switchhub. Configuration was simple and straight forward. I am using cable modem on ATTBI's cable broadband service in Chicago suburb. The only concern was the 2wire bandwidth is a little lower than before. Not sure if this is due to the D-Link router.
The bandwidth was 550 to 750 kbps before using the router (was
a switchhub). With the new router, I am getting 450 to 550 kbps. Since router uses store-and-forward, it is no suprize to pay a penalty with the achieved bandwidth. Wish it causes only a delay, instead of a loss on the throughput. Considering the low cost of the router, it was an excellent buy.

Summary: Excellent value, straightforward installation
Review: The DI-604 is an excellent value. It's flexible, it has a firewall, and D-Link tech support is impressive. The router was very easy to install in the sort of configuration most people will want for a home or small office. Just use the "quick install" card that comes with it. (But you do have to turn your cable modem off and then back on after it's installed, a detail not noted on the card). There's no printed manual, but there's a pretty good manual on a CD that comes with the router.

In my case I wanted to get remote access to my office through a virtual private network, which is a tweak most people won't have to think about. The manual didn't cover that, so I sent an e-mail to D-Link tech support on a Saturday afternoon and had a comprehensive answer back Saturday night.

This is the second time I've installed a router for a home broadband connection. The first time, the router cost $200 (about 18 months ago). We're all used to seeing shrinking prices for electronic equipment, but this is really a breakthrough price for a very good product.

Summary: DSL Router
Review: This is a nice, inexpensive router for adding p.c.'s to your cable internet account.
Here are a few hints when setting it up...
1. TURN OFF YOUR P.C.!
2. Hook up the router.
3. Turn on youor p.c. and your machine will find the new hardware.

One would think the manufacturer would tell us this; they didn't and that is why I only gave the router 4 stars.
They should have sent a "set up router for dummies" book along with this.

Summary: Good for surfing..But....
Review: Great for surfing, but firmware must be flashed because they all ship with outdated firmware.
Also if you want to use a webcam etc, forget it.. Not even using the DMZ is going to save you.
I dont know what to buy now, as the Linksys looks like it is not very reliable either..

Summary: Works perfectly with Road Runner cable service...
Review: Every once in a while I order a tech product that works flawlessly. This router/gateway is one of them! I took it out of the box, installed it, plugged in my two Window's PC's, and booted everything up. It grabbed an IP address, fed internal addresses to the two local machines, and granted them access to the Internet. The firewall is faithfully protecting them as well. I highly reccomend this product to all Road Runner cable modem users -- you need a firewall to protect your PC's and your data, and to share your access with more than one computer. Can't beat this deal with a stick! :-)

Summary: Easy installation and setup!!
Review: This dsl router was a breeze to setup and install. I was able to set it up in 5 minutes and the cost was only [$$$] after rebate so you can't beat the price for the quality.
