Rating: Summary: D-Link Dsh5 10/100mb E-Net hub Review: A great product easy installation fast and works great. A GREAT BUY.
Rating: Summary: This unit works ok but has an incredibly noisy little fan! Review: All in all I'd have to say that this is an acceptable unit performance-wise, made unacceptable by one super noisy little internal fan. Believe me - when people complain about it from the next room it's noisy! If you can put up with the noise you'll get acceptable and reliable performance.
Rating: Summary: This unit works ok but has an incredibly noisy little fan! Review: I bought D-Link's DSH-5 and was truely amazed at this hub's awesome performance. It provided me a fast connectivity solution that I was looking for to support my 10/100 computers. My experience with the installation was so simple, I couldn't resist breaking a smile. I definitely received the expandability I needed to connect 3 computers to my print server. I now have a quick and convenient mini-network for my home. I shared files between my computers and sent print jobs to my printer and everything functioned like a sophisticated high-end network system. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who is serious about networking a small office or home. This unit would also be ideal for gaming purposes because of its fast instant broadcast signal. This hub comes with a lifetime warranty, free technical support(if needed), and you cannot go wrong with Amazon's excellent price. Two thumbs up for this great hub, and many thanks to Amazon and D-Link products for making networking simple and inexpensive.

Rating: Summary: Excellent Little Hub for a SOHO Network Review: I bought one of these in May 2001, plugged it in, and it's worked great since then. I am confused by complaints from others about fan noise, because mine does not have a fan! Perhaps those were an older version? Mine is Model DSH-5, Serial BF121581001939, Version D1.

Rating: Summary: cheap in every sense of the word Review: I had to send in the switch within 2 months because it stopped working. The replacement after a week started making a loud noise (the fan I think) which I was told was "normal." Then one of the ports stopped working. So it is now on a shelf as my emergency replacement switch in case one of my new (3-COM) switches stops working.
Rating: Summary: Too Noisy Review: This unit is what it claims to be and does what it claims to be able to do. I've been using it to connect three computers to my DSL router for months now with no real problems. The reason I'm replacing it, though, is that it's just too loud. It's got an internal fan that makes a constant whining noise that seems to be getting louder as it gets older (or maybe I'm just going nuts).
