SMC EZ SWITCH 10/100/1000 - 8508T ( SMC8508T )

Summary: Dead!!! After only 2 months in use.
Review: Avoid SMC.

1. My SMC8508T was serving as my backbone switch, it died completely (no power) on a busy workday, bringing down our entire network.

2. You have to call "Tech Support" in INDIA (confirmed with SMC that is where it is outsourced to), decipher what they are saying, then get a Case #, then call "Customer Support" in order to get an RMA #.

I will not put the replacement/fixed product back in production...it will be delegated as a temporary emergency backup switch.
