Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Fastest wireless router, great interference buster
Review: While you won't get the 108Mbps advertised you will get the fastest speeds. This router is many times faster than linksys, netgear, or any other router I have used.
This router is very good if you live in a high-rise and are susceptible to interference from neighbor's wireless networks etc. First of all 802.11a runs in the 5Ghz band, if you have a dwl-AG660 wireless card or any other 802.11a capable card then you can use this band to avoid interference as almost no one has 802.11a wireless network yet. Even when using this router on 802.11g (yes it does both simultaneously) it can cut through interference better than any other router I've used even the linksys WRT54G.
The other reason I like this router is its features that linksys does not have:
Port mapping (i.e. map port 80 on the outside to 192.168.0.20 on port 3300) Linksys will only do port forwarding where a port say 80 on the outside can be mapped to an ip on the inside on the same port number.
Static DHCP (where you can configure the router to always assign the same IP address to a specific computer. This is very handy when using laptops especially if you carry your computer from home to work etc. (No manual re-configuration of the static IP on your computer))
The reason I had to give this router only 4 stars instead of 5 is it had a hardware failure on my only 5 months after I purchased it. I am getting a new one on warranty now.

Future proof your network now 802.11a is the future and this router does it all 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g.

For maximum speed I would recommend the DWL-AG660 wireless card or another D-Link card, however I have successfully used this router with my laptop's integrated card as well (not as good at interference avoidance and speed then)
