Review: Good product when used with the linksys ethernet router! I've had mine in for a few months and had no problems. Fast Easy install and excellent documentation.

Summary: Good card but some problem at first
Review: Before I installed this network card, I used USB to connect to my cable modem and everything was working perfectly fine. Then I installed this card hoping to use ethernet to connect to my modem, then something went wrong. Something was really wrong with this card because it was working properly and I had full cable connection. But the problem was that I cannot retrieve website information when I opened either IE or Netscape. It took me 3 days with many phone calls to Linksys, my pc manufacture, and my cable ISP, and finally we found out a problem with my system file that is used to establish connection with DNS. I don't whether the problem was caused by the card or something else but the problem did occur after the installation. But overall, the card is working fine so far. So it's good to buy it if you can get a rebate or discount with it.

Review: After having problems trying to get my cable modem working via a USB connection, I ran out and bought this Linksys. Installation was so simple and fast, and it worked right away. Very intuitive to set up. All I needed was a Phillips screwdriver to open one of those little metal-covered slots near the motherboard. Then just popped the card into place, closed the tower and painlessly installed the drivers.

Review: I bought this card because my new computer came with an accton pci ethernet lan card which would always start working then stop, then start again. I got tired of it, and decided to buy a linksys card becuase of many excellent reviews by pc world magazine. It took probably less than 10 minutes to install the whole thing (from taking the cables out to installing the software). The speed difference is very noticable. I'm using this on Windows ME and it works excellent. A MUST BUY for the price.

Summary: Be careful if you need WOL
Review: If you don't care about WOL the card works fine. My system requires a 3-pin WOL cable to connect the LAN card to the system board. The LNE100TX item description says it has one, but the card that came (version 5) does not have this type of interface. Check for compatibility before you buy it!! I ended up returning mine.

Review: I built an AMD Thunderbird 900 system with an ECS K7vma motherboard and I have had no conflicts. I run Windows 2000 Professional with a cable modem and the card is very stable. You can rarely beat the price. I can't really say anything negative about this card. Never used Linksys products before this card but I don't hesitate doing so in the future.

Review: I got one of this cards and did't work at all. Try calling coustumer service. The worse I have ever seen. They don't return the phone calls or e-mails. What is worse, after running the test included with the drivers my 32 bit files got corrupted and have to reinstall WIN 98se. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY PRODUCTS.

Review: I have an HP6835 Computer and I installed this great Modem on it but my motherboard could not except it and it keep giving me error messages. I think the card is OK but you have to will know what kind of motherboard you have.

Summary: Up and Running in Less than 30 Minutes
Review: We plugged it in, powered it up, loaded the drivers, and it worked. Absolutely no hassles. My nine year old son helped me install the card. The majority of the time required to install the card was consumed by unplugging all the cables from the computer, opening the case, vacuuming out the dust (a little preventative maintenance can't hurt), closing the case, and reconnecting all the cables.
