Summary: Great performance, high-pitched noise!
Review: I would have given this product a 5/5, but it emits a very annoying high-pitched noise. The solution? Wrap it up in towel and shove it under your desk!

Summary: An excellent unit
Review: This is my first DSL Router. It took a bit of experimenting to get it work with our protocols here in Israel - but when I got it up and running - it sings. It integrated beautifully with the existing networked computers and all of them now have full internet access.

I would recommend this unit to all. I would also recommend buying it through Amazon. They had the best price, free shipping (within the US) and fast service. ... I swapped out the 110 volt power supply with a 220 volt unit and it works just fine.

Summary: Works great
Review: Followed instructions and it worked the first time with my home using XP and my work computer using NT. No conflicts, no problems. Should be shipped with a patch cable but that is minor. Two computers up and running in fifteen minutes. I have been using it for over one month with no problems.

Summary: One of the best products
Review: I was in need of connecting a desktop and two laptops in my home and using this router I could get the desired. It has been three months since I am using this and found very satisfactory with the product.

I would recommend this as a good option for connecting more than one computer.

Summary: This Router/hub/firewall works for me!
Review: I bought this unit more as a fire wall than anything else - I use it along with PC-Cillin Anti-Virus protection & ZoneAlarm Firewall software. These two security applications are integrated in the router setup. Connecting to other computers is instant with DHCP; It assigns IP addresses automatically when the other computer's TCP/IP is set to Automatically obtain an IP from a DHCP server. What a great unit! very easy to set up and packed with useful features...

Summary: Linksys 4-Port Cable/DSL Router
Review: I have used this Linksys many times in network setups, as well as have one running my own cable network. My experience has been that they are *excellent*!

Summary: Unit Failed After 3 months
Review: The unit failed after 3 months of normal use. No support from the company. Nothing to do but put it in the landfill. Avoid this company.

Summary: Linksys Router
Review: I just received my Linksys Cable/DSL Router. I have RoadRunner as my ISP, and have a Toshiba cable modem (PCX2200). Using DHCP, which seems to be the default settings for the router, I had two laptops, and one desktop networked and on the Internet in less than 10 minutes! I had NO problems, everything was setup by default.

Summary: Linksys Router Randomly Disconnects
Review: I had two Linksys routers to do a home network. The first one ran into a problem where it would randomly disconnect me while running graphic intensive programs over the network. After exhaustive and time consuming tech support, I received a replacement. That replacement did the exact same thing. After running out of patience with the product, I bought a D-Link router and have been trouble free since.
