Summary: Wide open spaces ( My desktop)
Review: Others have covered things well. I will cover one concern I had that held me back.
I have a logitech cordless keyboard and cordless mouse and both are usb. The device works fine with ps2 converters on both connectors.
The mouse insisted on installing as usb and had to be changed to Ps2 afterward.
One of my better investments.

Summary: Great KVM value
Review: Rather than spending [a lot of money] for other KVM switches, this one is right on the money, easy to use, and works great. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how well this KVM switch works.

Summary: Simply Works!
Review: The biggest compliment I can give an inexpensive "infrastructure" piece of kit like this one, is that it simply works. Plugged it in, and it works as advertized. (...) Bottom line: just works. Small form factor, sensible physical design, cables included, no external power required. (...)

Summary: Best-Breed Technology
Review: The GCS62 is wonderful. I like the self-powered format. One less cable, you know? The KVM cables are long [enough] and the device has worked flawlessly for about 6 months now. I'm only replacing soon because I have a new, third system. Otherwise - no way!

Summary: good switch
Review: The switch works great. I thought I was having a problem with it randomly switching between the two computers, but then I realized that this was a 'feature'. So other than it being a bit too easy to accidentally enable this feature, the switch is good. Anyways, you can get it back to normal by hitting spacebar. ;>

Summary: I Can See Clearly Now ...
Review: This is an excellent KVM switch!

I purchased this item because the new KVM switch I got a week before did not provide the performance I expected or required.

The earlier KVM switch was manual and provided a terrible video signal -- full of shadows and ghosts. Granted, this was probably due to the cheap cables that came with the unit but the costs of 2 new sets of cable would have been more expensive than this new switch!

Thus the IOGEAR KVM Switch. For the cost of new cables I got a new automatic switch with integrated and upgraded cables. The video signal and picture quality is excellent, the compact design fits neatly on my desk, and the molded combo cables mean less clutter for my cat to get tied up in -- what more could anyone want?

If you're looking for a KVM Switch that'll help you lose those unwanted pounds, become more attractive, and make you the envy of all your friends and relatives -- this is it!

Summary: A sweet little KVM
Review: This KVM has been a delight to own. It is easy to setup and use and has been very reliable. I have not found any limitations with it and I love how compact it is. I use 1024x768 on my desktops and run some fairly high end gaming graphics through it, with n'er a problem. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Doesn't work well with laptops...
Review: This product does not work well with laptops (usually only 1 PS/2 port) and wireless keyboard/mouse combos. I could not get IOGEAR's switch to work with a Dell laptop, a Dell desktop, and a new Logitech Elite Duo keyboard/mouse. The main problem is the lack of PS/2 ports on the laptop combined with the hotkey switching. Since all i want is a monitor switch, I'm going with a simple manual monitor switchbox.

Summary: Major Flaw- Buyer Beware!!!
Review: This product has a major flaw. I bought the Iogear based on the reviews here and else where. Brought it back. The mouse would not function on the line attached to my IBM laptop docking station. I found a note at the end of the instruction booklet that says it doesn't work with IBM and Toshiba laptops. No mention on the package and none in the reviews. BAD! IBM and Toshiba are huge so this is not a small flaw. I returned it a bought the Belkin which works flawlessly.
