D-Link DI-711 Broadband 802.11B Wireless Router

Summary: Works fine
Review: Using it with Comcast cable modem and two computers about 500 feet and 1 floor apart. Works quite reliably, it auto detects the IP and does eveything transparently. My only gripe is D-Link's support seems to be run by underqualified technicians that just give you the run around. Good thing it works fine already, so it's not much of an issue to me.

Summary: Bad choice
Review: worked more or less ok, with one major drawback: built-in "firewall" which could not be deactivated did too much protecting me, filling up "intruder list" with packets sent and received by ICQ. After some number of such packets device locks up, and you have to reboot it manually. This is not a "BUG", this is a "FEATURE", it is even in the manual - they say it's for our protection.
Do not buy it.
