Review: They call it a kit but it only has the adapter piece. That would be like buying a train kit and only getting the track. Not sure why it is called kit here, if you look at the box you don't see the word 'kit'. However in defense of Amazon.com I do see it listed all over the internet as a 'kit' so maybe Adaptec's official description calls it a 'kit'. If so they are the one's guilty of false advertising.
