Rating: Summary: Good Product Review: Although I usually buy netgear stuff (I own a netgear wireless router), I opted to get the d-link USB adapter. Setup wasn't a problem and it works very well. I'm satisfied with it so far. In addition, this unit is small. I was pretty surprised. It's smaller than a wallet, about 2"x3".
Rating: Summary: Great Product! (Get the updated driver off D-Link website). Review: Bought D-link DI-614+ router, DCM-201 cable modem, and the DWL-120+ USB adapter as a complete wireless system. As the D-link ads say, yes, all three worked together flawlessly. In fact, I did not even need to program the router or the USB adapter. Once the modem was hooked up to the local cable network, and connected to the wireless router, the USB adapter networked immediately. I did all the wireless security programming off the computer via the USB wireless hookup. Note: If you have Win 98SE or Win Me, install the updated driver (ver. 1.02) off the D-Link site. The original driver that comes with the hardware will cause your system to hang every time you boot-up the computer. I highly recommend anyone to buy a wireless system made up entirely of D-link units, because the setup is painless.
Rating: Summary: Great Little Pocket Adapter Review: I bring this with my laptop and whenever I want a wireless connection I just need to plug this in my USB slot and BAM I can start searching for a htospot. This USB adapter has been working great with zero problems since I got it. Software is nice as well, since it is pretty informative and helps you find a good AP to connect to. Range is surprisingly good as well.
Rating: Summary: mostly good Review: I had a hard time connecting it to my WXP needing to driver download. And then it flashed several times trying to connect to my Linksys router. It still does an in/out connect frequently. But once settled in it has great range for the household, easily beating out Linksys and Netgear adapters.
Rating: Summary: BEST USB ADAPTER Review: I had a sieman usb adapter and thought that was pretty good, then I got the Dlink 614+ router and wanted to try this out. I was surprised to see that the signal was absolutely great. I started to walk outside with it and it still worked, I also got a signal from a local CVS store. I also picked up the Dlink 650+ and it was just as good. The speed of the 650+ had a transfer rate of 1.8 MegaByte while the 120+ barely made it to 1 MegaByte(due to the limitation of usb1 tech) but other then that this is a great desktop solution. 1 MegaByte isn't much but you can pretty much stream any videos or movies from other computers on the network. Theres also a G series of this using USB2, that should take care of the bandwidth problems. The antenna is mostly cosmetic, helps a little but I never really had to push it up since the signal was always good(around 80%). This product is amazonly" small, about the size of 5xAA batteries lined up together and weights nothing. Highly recommend for desktops, even laptops if you want that extra distance

Rating: Summary: Easy to install, easy to use Review: I originally purchased the D-Link 520+ wireless PCI adapter and installed it in my mother's eMachine. Whenever I would shut down the pc, I received a blue screen of death with a hardware malfunction and NMI:Parity check error. Apparently, this is a frequent problem with that adapter. I am returning it because I purchased this DWL 120+ adapter, and it worked PERFECTLY. No problems on shutdown.
Rating: Summary: It reboots my machine Review: I tried it on two machines running window 2000 Pro. One got blue screen, the other got reboot. Swap a new one with dealer, problem still happened. A nice wireless adapter if it won't reboot my machine.
Rating: Summary: Nice little package at a good price Review: I was very impressed with the size, receiver range and installation of this product. I also have a Linksys USB adapter and I couldn't get coverage in my entire house. The DWL-120+ gives me complete coverage so I could move my office out of my bedroom (read: wife is happy). Previous D-Link products had terrible installation software and instructions. This product was much improved.
Rating: Summary: Great Product! (Get the updated driver off D-Link website). Review: Outstanding sensitivity and performance compared to other USB adapters I have tried and much better than my built-in mini-PCI card. Better SNR by up to 20dB, sees more APs. Utilities are very useful. Works with NetStumbler also. Installs easily under XP. D-Link support could be better, but few issues. Highly recommended.
