Summary: Poor signal, and slimsy quality
Review: I bought Siemens Speedstream wireless router and D-link 802.11b card, the D-Link card seems to work fine and can be used anywhere within my house. Then I bought this US Robotics USR2210 card, after I tried it I regret the decision of the choice. Although it did not take me long to put it in place (the configuration is exactly the same as the other D-link card) and the card started to work. In the same room as the router, the card only shows "signal strength" at "40%" and "link quality" is about 70%, which relly surprises me. I realized that card is no way to work in upstair rooms. I tried to another room, it only works sometimes while the wirless icon constantly showing "Signal Poor", and the signal strength and the link quality has no data. The product is usable and I thought I can try US Robotics for a replacement.

...I am disappointed with the product quality. If this the first wireless card for my router, I would blame the router's transmitting strength, however since the D-link wireless card... shows great signal strength and link quality, it assume me that the US-Robotics wireless card (22mbps) has quality problem.

The bottomlink is: don't buy it, choose something else with a lot of positive reviews.

Summary: linksys card is much better
Review: I don't even have an access point at home, but there are many at my school. It works, and i have no problems with it. Installation was easy. Just had to install the software and plug the card in.

I just wish it had better range. Signal strength never gets to green for me, only yellow. But about 30 for a 22mbps wireless card is a good deal.

Summary: USR 2210
Review: I have a HP Laptop and it works fine with my Netgear Wireless router. Althought the router is only 11 MBPS. Encription works but you have to type keys in individually.

Summary: Works, but not correctly
Review: I purchased this card along with the matching access point. I am running XP PRO on an inspirion 8200. It worked right out of the box by justing sliding it in. However none of the indicator lights work. There is a data light and a power light that never come on. My range is decent not great. I may send it back even though it seems to work.

Summary: Fantastic value
Review: I'm using a wireless D-Link 22mbps router at home. The USR connected flawlessly at 22mbps. Signal strength seems to be quite good. A good value buy.

Summary: linksys card is much better
Review: I've try D-link and US robotics for both PC cards and Access point. So, from my expereince, simply go for linksys, there are the best. the only attracted me to the USR card was the price offer. I really recommend the linksys instant wireless PC card.

Summary: Good Range - Product Quality Poor
Review: The range on this item is great. It pulls decent speeds (better during evening and latenight hours) from a wireless access point across the street.

That said.. the assembly is poor. My US Robotics card, while it still works, now opens like a book. Product still works, but I've heard of others having their US Robotics cards fall apart as well...

Summary: Trash
Review: This card is complete trash with design flaws, buggy software, and lack of support. Doesn't want to talk to my other wireless devices using 64biut encryption, only 128bit works. The windows driver won't work unless you're an administrator, and there are no Linux drivers in sight. Mine is going back ... today, and I strongly recommend anyone not to buy this junk.

Summary: Works great with Netgear router better with SMC 2404 router
