Review: Lots of people complain about the prescott's heat output, but frankly it's no where near the worst processor I've had. I'm running with two standard fans - not special high output fans mind you - running the stock intel heatsink (not special heatsinks mind you), and the machine stays up with no problem. Can't say the same about amd MPs - special sinks, special fans (far more than 2), and still has problems if you don't do it right. Use the standard intel fan/sink, take comfort in the intel warranty, and stop whining.
