Sony's MZ-E909 MD Walkman player has a durable and stylish full-magnesium body. The unit plays standard minidiscs as well as those recorded using Sony's Net MD system, which stores up to 320 minutes--over 5 hours of music--on one 80-minute disc. Ultimate Skip-Free G-Protection technology offers substantial resistance to shock under the roughest conditions. Easy Skip group and folder navigation eases access to all disc tracks, providing simple navigation between multiple file folders. A single AA battery used in tandem with a supplied rechargeable battery provides up to 145 hours of playback (in LP4 mode). The player includes a battery-charging stand and a memory that stores preferred settings for favorite MDs. In addition, this player supports multiple Internet audio formats (including MP3 and WMA) as well as ATRAC3 playback.
